If you’ve recently had a c-section and you’re considering after C-Section Exercise, avoid sit-ups.

You’re probably thinking, aren’t sit ups the best thing for tightening tummy muscles and getting rid of that flab?

Yes, typically they are, and for women who haven’t had abdominal surgery, they’re quite effective,  however doingafter c-section exercise crunches and sit ups as your after c-section exercise regimen could do you more harm than good.

Sit ups for women after a c-section are not recommended because C-section scar tissue resulting from the C-section procedure has the potential to cause inflammation which can complicate your healing.

Exercise After C-Section

Exercise after a c-section can be tough, I know, I struggled with it after both my C-Sections.

It’s hard enough coping with C-Section recovery while also caring for a baby 7/24.  Add in exercise to the mix and it almost never happens.
