We had a great time at the ‘Walk For Life’ in San Diego, Ca on Sunday. The walk was short but what a great cause.  The Walk for Life Women’s center will be getting several thousand dollars that will benefit new moms all over the county.

I met up with my good friend Sheila who offered so much to my ‘Worry Free C-Section’ book.  Sheila’s the maternity nurse at Sharp Memorial here in San Diego and what a great caregiver she is.  Mom’s ask for her by name!

Walk for life

This Sunday Oct. 11, 2009 I’ll be walking for the Walk for Life  Pregnancy 2009 in San Diego. I’m excited as this will be my first walk for the birthline of San Diego organization.

Birthline is a local organization and pregnancy support center that helps women, single or married, to have their babies rather than opt for an abortion. This is such a great cause and I’m more than excited to be donating my time and treasure to such a great organization.  I think it will be a great time to come together, get in a little exercise and hopefully make a difference in someone’s life.

If you live in San Diego, Ca. I’d love to see you out there. The walk is only 2 miles, no hills and takes place in Mission Bay Park from 1:00-4:00 p.m. 

If you want to walk yourself just get a few sponsors and come on out, you can fill out the paperwork there. You will provide the names and mailing addresses of your sponsors when you arrive and they will be billed, no need to bring money to the event.
