5 Reasons You Need a C-Section Recovery Kit

A C-section recovery kit is one of the best things you can treat yourself to after having a c-section.

As a new mom you don’t have time to lay around and get better, you have a new baby to take care of which  means continued movement whether you feel like it or not, so using something that helps reduce pain, promotes faster healing and makes you feel better just makes good sense.

A c-section recovery kit includes a c-section recovery belt, Bikini belt, Skin brush and a Massage therapy guide and here are 5 reasons you need them: Read more »

Postpartum Depression after a C-Section

One of the things that concerns women when having a cesarean section is postpartum depression after a c-section.  Their concerns are valid as medical studies have indicated that cases of post-partum depression after a c-section are higher among women than those who deliver vaginally.  But why?

Belly Wraps – Help or Hype?

I wish I had known about belly wraps when I had my c-section.  I was surprised to hear how long they’ve been around.  I guess I was too wrapped up,  no pun intended ;-)   in my own little world to know about them, but I have to say I think a belly wrap would have been just the thing I needed for easing my incision pain – I could have really used some of that!  And from what I’ve seen and heard, some women swear by them.

Originally designed to help support your back for post pregnancy and c-section moms, a belly wrap provides extensive abdominal support.  It helps post partum moms lose that pregnancy look quicker and it makes movement after having a c-section much easier.   Read more »
