About Elizabeth
Dear Mom to Be,
My name is Elizabeth and it brings me great pleasure to have created this C-Section Blog and e-book ‘A Worry Free C-Section‘.
I’ll start by saying that I am NOT a doctor. I am a mom just like you who has had 2 c-sections, however those c-section experiences were not joyful ones for me.
Childbirth is one of the great miracles in life but, as I have experienced, it can also be one of the scariest and painful, particularly if you are told you must have a C-Section.
There are a range of emotions and thoughts that can take a wonderful moment and fill it with fear and anxiety, and that’s exactly what happened to me.
My first C-Section was completely unexpected, as is for 30% of first time moms, but I’ve learned a lot since then about having a surgical birth. Specifically why they occur, when they are truly necessary as well ashow to avoid them.
I’ve also spent many hours researching and understanding how to experience an easier recovery (something I wish I knew when I had my C-Sections. )
C-Sections are one of the most commonly performed surgeries today. They have saved many lives but I also know that many of them are unnecessary.
I’m not here to debate the issue of C-Sections being performed unnecessarily, my true goal is to help educate and inform women in learning about the C-Section procedure, why they occur, how to prepare and recover quickly, the risks and complications that can occur, and how to possibly avoid an unnecessary C-Section.
That’s why I’ve created my eBook and this blog, to help women better understand C-Sections. From understanding and knowing why C-Sections occur, the risks and the complications you’ll not only be prepared in the event a C-Section happens, you might possibly avoid one.
Whether your C-Section is planned or comes unexpectedly, I’d like to help it be as momentous as possible by informing, educating and familiarizing you with the physical and emotional aspects of preparing, having and recovering from a c-section.
My Sincerest Wishes for a healthy and happy birth experience.
Elizabeth
P.S. Please take a moment and review my C-Section Recovery & Feel Better Guide. It’s FREE but has some powerful personal tips that I know will help you.
